After a long timeout, I finally got my wallet updated again. I figured it no longer worked and had deleted it, then restored from backup. On Jan. 6, 2022 I wrote about the poolen.io pool being shut down. I thought mining was no more and recorded the "money supply" at 8,791,804,278 or 8.7 billion BAD. See badcoin.boards.net/thread/56/thoughts-mining-pool-situation-generallyEvidently, mining is still ongoing. The money supply today is reported at "moneysupply": 9794947958.72252247, so, it's being emitted somewhere, somehow. I don't know what this means, but it's interesting. There's a pulse. Maybe. Somewhere.

But I believe they shut down their yessrypt stratum a long time ago. So I shut down my CPU miner.

But I believe they shut down their yessrypt stratum a long time ago. So I shut down my CPU miner. Understood. The good news though is that the wallets still, work, blocks are being mined still, and the chain is still alive. It's on life support, but alive. I agree though, yescrypt is really rather critical for a chain like this. Kind of the whole point, or a major part, is the ability to cpu mine.
