To set up the BADcoin wallet
Windows...
You should get the correct one for your computer, depending on whether it's a 32-bit (x86 or i686) or 64-bit (x64_64). These numbers are a bit confusing with lots of 86s and 64s. This site looks helpful: www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001121.htm Figure out which type of computer your have.
Go to github.com/badcoin-net/Badcoin/releases and download the correct zip.
Badcoin-i686-w64-mingw32.zip is for 32-bit Windows computers
Badcoin-x86_64-w64-mingw32.zip is for 64-bit Windows computers
After downloading, unzip it, then open up the folders. There are lots of them, but the last folder has the file you want: badcoin-qt.exe You'll see the round, red BADcoin logo.
32-bit folder structure: /home/travis/build/ScriptProdigy/Badcoin/out/false/72.1-i686-w64-mingw32/bin/badcoin-qt.exe
64-bit folder structure: /home/travis/build/ScriptProdigy/Badcoin/out/false/72.2-x86_w64-mingw32/bin/badcoin-qt.exe
You should be able to simply run that badcoin-qt.exe program. That's the wallet.
In Linux...
Download the linux version from github.com/badcoin-net/Badcoin/releases and then unzip it..
Take note of where you put it. I stuck it in a folder called "badcoin-linux", so my file structure is:
/badcoin-linux/home/travis/build/ScriptProdigy/Badcoin/out/false/72.3-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin
Open a command line terminal, and navigate to that folder. You can use the "cd" command followed by the folder structure.
Here's how I did it, note the dot in front of the folder structure.
cd ./badcoin-linux/home/travis/build/ScriptProdigy/Badcoin/out/false/72.3-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/bin
Once in the "bin" folder, to start the wallet, enter:
./badcoin-qt
The wallet should start.
Apple...
I'm not an Apple person, so, not sure. But, likely it's just download the folders, open and run the wallet.
